Extramarks Education, a digital learning solutions, has announced the launch of a quiz based reality show ‘Finding Kalam’ on the 84th birth anniversary of former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam.
According to a press release, the competition to be conducted among school children (VI to XII standards) will choose a winner who refl ects the persona and traits of Kalam. The contest will help them hone their skills, potential and showcase their brilliance on a national stage and a chance to win lucrative cash prizes.
‘Extramarks has launched this initiative as an ode to Abdul Kalam and his concern for children as the future of nation. The show aims to imbibe in the coming generation a love for knowledge, a vision for nation, compassion for humanity and similar traits that Kalam possessed, in Indian students to develop all-round skills in order to be a boon to the nation and achieve their career ambitions simultaneously,’ said Extramarks
Education founder Atul Kulshrestha. The competition will assess contestants on class and curriculum specific questions. It will be conducted at four different levels and evaluate academic profi ciency, extra-curricular talent,general knowledge and other skills.
The initial two levels of the competition will assess students based on couple of online tests wherein the summation of scores will be the qualification criteria for further levels
